Hendersonville Classic Champions!

The Hendersonville High School Lady Commandos claim the Championship title for the Hendersonville Classic by defeating Columbia Central by the score of 7-0 and Shelbyville 3-0. Although Franklin High School also defeated their two rivals, they did allow a goal in their first game; this gave Hendersonville the upper hand in the tie breaker. Nice job ladies!

Marcela Sanchez and Taren Brown were named the tournaments "Most Valuable Players' on the offense and defense, respectively. Sanchez takes home the honors for the second year in a row by netting 5 goals during the tournament, and Brown's contribution the defense coupled with her own goal (pk) and two assists, made her this years choice.
