March 13, Opening Day 2007 vs. traditional first game rival Father Ryan, proved to be just what everyone has come to expect from two of the mid-state's most respected programs. Hendersonville's first goal of the regular season came when the clock read 28:22 in the first half, courtesy of Paco Hernandez only to be equalized twelve minutes later as the Irish were awarded a penalty kick.
