Three Hendersonville standouts honored by TACA, TSCA and TSWA

Taren Brown, Melissa Govea and Marcela Sanchez have been named to the 2006 TACA (Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association) All State Team, to the 2006 TSCA (Tennessee Soccer Coaches Association) All State Team and to the 2006 TSWA (Tennessee Sports Writers Association) All State Team... Hendersonville racks up the honors in "All County (Sumner) Team" for 2006, receiving all top three spots including "Player of the Year"

Marcela Sanchez has been named the "All-County Player of the Year", Taren Brown named "All-County Defensive Player of the Year" and Melissa Govea named "All-County Co-Offensive Player of the Year". Named to the "All-County First Team" were Jessica Hunt, Madison Kentner and Whitney Salley. Named to the "All-County Second Team" were Kate Anthony, Carley Gaskin and Rachel Piper. Receiving "All-County Honorable Mention" were Shelby Denton, Kelsey Plummer and Sherry-Lynn VanEs. Congratulations to all. You've made us proud!
